Joe Richman
Joe Richman is an award-winning independent producer and reporter for public radio, and the founder of Radio Diaries. Before becoming an independent producer, Joe worked on the National Public Radio programs All Things Considered, Weekend Edition Saturday, Car Talk and Heat . Joe is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism

anayansi Diaz-Cortes

Associate Producer Anayansi Diaz-Cortes joined Radio Diaries to do outreach for Thembi's AIDS Diary. Anayansi had never considered a career in radio, but she unexpectedly fell in love with the story-telling power of audio. Anayansi has curated and produced media content for MediaRights.org, organized panels, workshops and conferences around social-issue media, independent documentary, and distribution.

Samara

Assistant Producer Samara Freemark joined Radio Diaries after a stint in the newsroom of Ann Arbor's public radio station. Prior to settling on a career in radio she tried out policy research, community organizing, and urban planning before deciding she preferred soundwaves to spreadsheets.
